Part of a series of photos highlighting the construction of a then-new high school. While the newspaper did print color, often photos were shot in black in white for inset pages
During the school season I would often photograph local athletic events. Similar to the school construction project, this was shot in black and white.
An equestrian event photographed during the Richland County Fair. One of the particular challenges with this event was working on the event schedule and managing the lighting with the time of day- often requiring extensive editing in post.
A photo capturing the annual Shelby Cruise In. With this project a key goal was working with a wide depth of field to capture all the cars in detail. Saturated colors were used to emphasize the vibrant, colorful cars of the era
